Service Description

When you don't need a counselor. You need a Coach! Parents, some teens may begin to show symptoms of emotional challenges during adolescence. If not addressed these symptoms can follow them into adulthood, leaving them emotionally immature; effecting relationships. Does this time feel like a "cortisol/adrenaline producing roller coaster" or a what's behind the corner now "Indiana Jones ride?" Whatever it may be we find our need for support, guidance and a action plan to be a source of hope at the end of the tunnel (there is a end). We will create a new plan of action that ultimately works for you and the family. Coaching can be a fun and uplifting experience. In contrast to therapy, where the therapist is seen as the expert, coaching is a collaborative effort between myself and my client. The focus is on helping create a vision of the life they would like, and supporting them in their journey towards that goal. My training as a Coach and advocate has paved the way for developing more creative and positive ways for working with you and your family. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space for all and to explore obstacles, ask questions and express feelings. Sometimes you may not have the time or energy to be as available to your teen as you would like. It has been said that “It takes a whole village to raise a child.” It can be helpful to know that I am here, should you ever want or need assistance. • Tools, materials and recommendations to support your personal growth My clients will discover a new level of clarity that will help with connection to oneself, family and community. My clients will establish priorities and strengthen personal boundaries to make space for what matters and what nourishes them. *Custom Family sessions available per request.
